Marcie’s journey to fitness began like most people – one step at a time. Each successive step that she took around that neighborhood loop turned her into a runner. She has run countless road races, trail races and marathons since those first steps – losing and keeping off the more than 20lbs she shed for over 15 years.
She firmly believes that “Exercise doesn’t just change your look – it changes your whole outlook.” Her passion is to bring that philosophy to her clients. She enjoys working with people as they take their first steps toward fitness as well as with fitness veterans wanting to change up their exercise routines. She individually crafts workouts to meet you where you are and works with you to meet your goals.
Outside of fitness, Marcie enjoys cooking (and eating!), playing with her kids, singing and making the most of this adventure called life. She believes in giving back to her community – volunteering as a coach for Girls on the Run, as part of the PTA, through her church and with the Girls Scouts.
Marcie is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength Professionals Association, a Certified Running Coach through the Road Runners Club of America, CPR and First Aid Certified.
